Cheers fella, got a lot of stick off th Mrs for changing so much but shes come round to it now

The Audi was super fast, rare, good looking in every way, stopped immensely, handled well but it was boring because i could never drive it to the ragged edge. Its limits where far far beyond mine. I feel like i was just along for the 440bhp ride! It would do anything i wanted and some!

With hot hatches i feel like my driving capability is more suited which always equals more fun

My mate has a B7 as his daily and a GT3 as the weekend weapon. And he absolutely LOVES it, he says it's the best car he has ever owned and he has had some pearlers! How much more expensive is it to run in real terms mate?

I can see your point about driving limits vs fun extracted.

My one (B5) was very reasonable to run, tax was the old over 1.9 is £150 iirc. 24MPG average was better than expected, tyres where 200 a corner, oil was dear for servicing though.

Not to mention possible turbo refurbishment

Sneaky, is that a B5 wearing B7 wheels? At first glance I thought it was a B7. So the B5 not a million miles away from the R?

Yes! Lovely wheels!

Nope not at all, amazingly similar. Things like EGT's Turbos, etc are all big bucks but nothing out of the ordinary and being FI

I will give the Rs4 an attempt to change my mind but it will be a B7 avant in sprint blue

I had blue KA I shared with the Missus

When that died we got her another KA but this time the sport version ImageUploadedByAG Free1378415090.737379.jpg

I then started my own policy with a corsa 1.2 I bought for £200, kept it for nearly a year and scrapped it for £160 ????

Then bought a passat 2.0 highline that I loved ImageUploadedByAG Free1378415278.433405.jpg

Now I have my 5dr R ImageUploadedByAG Free1378415335.611711.jpg
