So, I'm in the middle (would have been finished by now) of fixing a friend's C2, the water pump went causing the belt to go loose and bent 3 valves.
Had the head fixed at a local cylinder head specialist, fitted a new gasket, water pump and cam belt.
Started it up after doing a oil change and coolant top up.
Now I have a problem where by its misfiring on cylinder 3.
I've checked the timing, spark and I'm pretty sure it's getting fuel. Can't work out for the life of me what's wrong.
Can anyone shed any light on a dark situation?

When my Pug ever dropped a cylinder it was always a blocked injector

Ordered a cheap cable from eBay, just waiting for it to arrive. So can't check fault codes till then.
Hmmm, blocked injector might not be too far from the truth, had a perished O ring on cylinder 3.
Any recommendations on how to clean/unblock ? I'll whip it out tomorrow and make sure it's not an obvious blockage.

I'm not an expert but when I got it off the fuel rail I cleaned the hole and then gently tapped it onto a piece of kitchen roll to see if anything came out. I blew through one end and with some more taps some bits came out. It was more than one occasion this happened, to find which injector was blocked I would take the plug off the back of each one at a time to see which cylinder didn't drop down. Blowing through the injector didn't always work so going to the local scrap yard and getting spares was handy, remove 4, pocket 3 and pay for 1

Has a all in one coil pack so can't even test by pulling a lead.
Gonna call a local diesel injector specialist and see if they can check/service the injector.

You can test the coil pack by earthing each spark plug when removed from head but with all 4 back in the pack. Use a good length of wire to a clean point. Turn engine over, you'll see the spark pattern. Cheap and easy to rule out.
