Looking to upgrade the headunit to one of these 3. The reason ive picked one brand is because the choice is mind boggling so wittled it down to Pioneer fairly rapidly! I have a MK4 and appreciate good features but just looking for an easy to use unit that I can put in and forget about. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Yeah, RS4 is a beautiful car, the respect I have for the engineering and build quality is endless. Its fast, rare, good looking, everything so a wee bit boring

Out the two the only diffidence i can see is the 5500 has a larger screen, so id prob got for that.
Both have parrot phone kits built in, The the best hands free phone kits available today. Period.

I have a AVH 6300BT myself, a single din unit. I have this one being i have my gauges above.
Your choice are pretty much a double din version of mine.
Also the colours of the lights, red matches perfect the the red vw use for the dash lights.

Hey, just wanted to ask what you think of this now that youve had it a while?
Was looking at getting the new 8600bt. Assume its just the newer version so should be pretty similar.
