Hello fellow OC'ers,

not been around much lately due to career development and life away from cars

I have been considering parting with my R32 collection on & off now for a while as I just dont use it enough.
It might be better in somebodies Volkswagen collection or somebody who is going to use it more.

So what I need is some help putting a realistic value on everything, since R32oc is full of knowledgable R32 owners/enthuiasts I thought I would post a thread so see what peoples views & opinions are.

Right here's the list and would like a breakdown of values if possibe...... the car, the registration and then all the individual items:-

Volkswagen Golf R32 MY04 (2004) - 3dr - Deep Blue
  • Glass sun-roof
  • Full leather interior
  • Cruise control
  • Sat Navigation
  • Full Volkswagen Service history (8 services) using LongLife oil
  • 8000 miles
  • 1 previous owner
  • 6.5-7.5mm tyre wear and under 10% brake pad useage
  • No acciddents, dents or damage
  • 98% dry weather use with no snow weather useage

  • McGuard locking wheel nuts
  • Tracking device
  • Clean exhuast pipes with no black sutt
  • All original paperwork, invoices, MOT's, manuals etc
  • 6463 ECU firmware code applied
  • Coilpacks replaced under warranty
  • Drivers door de-lock kit
  • Xenon headlight covers
  • Car featured in EVO car magazine (photo's included)

The registration plate for sale is very similar to the original german Volkswagen press plate.
  • R32 WOB
Now these are all the rare R32 items ive collected over the years and all more or less new.
  • Original R32 drivers wallet (service book & manuals etc)
  • US R-Line accessory pack (incl valve caps) - 2 sets
  • R-Line R32 bonnet bra

  • R32 press pack - extremely rare
  • R32 alloy wheel centre caps - 1 set

*Editied, please no offers for any of the items via PM or on this thread as that would be breaking R32oc rules. I will post everything up for sale once I have solid figures in mind. Hence why I raised this thread in the first place.

Blimey Riz.

Hope you get what your happy with, and no doubt the new owner will be happy too!

I don't think you'll get more selling all together, and if it was me, would be selling the parts separately. Good luck with whatever you decide to do, and keep in touch!

Sell all the collectables seperate Riz as there worth some serious £££'s just on there own........

With regards to pricing probably the lowest mileage MK4 R32 in the UK, its going to be tricky! Personally with the reg I'd be asking around the £14k mark with negotiation if the reg wasn't wanted.

Good look with the sale but shouldn't be hard as its falultless! Just need the right buyer

That's been up before, one of my mates pointed it out a couple of months back.. I'm guessing the reason he's still got it is because of the stupidly high price tag.
It is a mad price but someone last month sold a cossie for 30k on eBay. More money then sense

Best of luck Riz. This is a hard one to call, as the right person will only pay what you want for it. With only 8k on the clock, I would suggest around 12k asking price with no offers is very fair. It will be interesting to see who buys it....may not be anyone off the forum.

Bob mentioned Riz before he departed. I did try and find a build thread for the 8K car with no such luck
the is no build thread, VW did'nt do one the car is like it has just rolled out of the showroom, only someone that knows what he's doing has washed it

come on RJH buy it, you won't find a better RHD MKIV R32

As for price I have no idea, Id say its got be worth at least as much, as a MK V with the same sort of millage. £17/18k+ but who knows.

Only if you stick tutankhamun mummy in the drivers seat and hang his sarcophagus out of the rear hatch
