Where is the best place to sell a private number plate other than eBay?

If it's car specific then a forum for that marque or model.

Pistonheads has a section for selling plates.

What's the plate? You can phone a company like you see in autotrader etc and they value and advertise the plate for you and take a cut.

It could be classed as car specific but it's my initials JW58 JCW it's on retention but only for a couple more months and I CBA payin for it again when I know deep down its going to be a long time before I buy a car that age! My mum got me it for my 21st but if I could I'd sell that bint too!!!

I think it certainly would appeal to some Mini owners.

To be fair it's only £25 a year to keep it on retention and you can do it for 3 years at a time.

The thing is I know I will forget to renew the cert and loose it so might aswell get something out of it, I've had a quick look for a JCW owners club and when you click on forum it takes you to their Facebook page?

Swerve number plate company's mate!!!! There cut is far too big, and they will value it a lot less just to get it sold and paid quicker.....
