Not quite sure how to handle this or where I stand on this issue. Dont want this silly bitch taking my firm to court and winning like they do on watchdog.
My boss the owner of the shop sold this woman a full bathroom back in Nov 2011 but she had a few issues with the bulider fitting it as well as doing the whole house. After 6 months the buliders packed up and left the job leaving the house in a mess so she took them to court. In the middle of that her dad got sick and died so she had to go abroad and sort that out.
So Jan this year she gets back to the UK and tells my boss she needs to change stuff? He was rude and said ive got no time for you. I felt bad and I said ill sort it out so after the court case she says she has won 5K back from the 7K she paid out. Now this month we get going and one of the shower doors and some radiators she ordered wrong so I said ill swap them over but coz the shower door is so big I have to send it back to the people that made it and there charging me £84 to take it back to cover costs but the rads ill try and sell on so ill give you full credit them and she agreed. Oh and if feb this year she said the basin was broken but after moaning to the makers of it they swaped it for me.
Last week the shower door went back and we gave her a smaller one but she then started to moan and said the other shower door has bits missing? I said you have had that door 18 months so any spares are chargable. She kicked and I said unless you pay for these items no can do. So she moaned at the shower people and then had the cheek to moan about the charge on the other door. Anyway the company swapped them both direct with her and said what a nut case.
Today she calls again saying that the brand new basin is broke and I want a new one. I more or less said what basin and not interested and im not even going to sell you a brand new one cause your doing my nut. Shes kicked off at the company that makes it and they said go back to the shop and im saying dont know you go away.
Shes lost all her paper work plus this is all over a year old so can I just ignore her? Also if she came in and started ranting can I call the police to remove her? This bitch is really crazy. The boss dont care as he's never in the shop but im not sure how the law works. I now feel sorry for the first bulider now.
