while i was waiting for my mot to be done i read in a magazine about playtv then searched for it on the net and it sounds good! if you dont have sky+ or virgin meadia or even vhs i suppose but itl come in handy for me!! prices from $133 to $200

yep this is what I am waiting for! I don't have sky or Virgin or Cable. just normal Freeview that came with my TV.

I wonder if the PS3 will record to AVCHD (Advanced Video Codec High Definition) as the power of the cell processor is awesome and it could easily cope with it!
