Hi All,

So I started my r32 after 5 months and now it seems there is a radiator leak? It was not leaking when it was parked up. Any ideas?

The radiators can rot at the bottom corners. The coolant system is pressurised so when you started the car it will have stressed the weak point and started leaking.

Either new radiator or refurb of the one you have.

It is not leaking as much more gushing the water straight out near the drivers side tyre....? How much would i be roughly looking at replacing the radiator? In the garage now, going to find out the damage tomorrow!!

Might not be the radiator then, you might be lucky to find a hose has split.

Because it's pressurised the coolant can come out quite quickly

Sorry, I'm not up to speed on prices, it it turns out to be the radiator

Last time I had a leak in that area it was the washer bottle:)

Hope it turns out to be something simple and not the radiator.
