Derrrrr whilst fitting my new rims last night for some reason their was a wheel bolt supplied which was a few mm longer than the others .. So after fitting I thought I would take the R out for a bit if a spin and got one turn of the wheel ( slowly )and crrrrrrunchhh! ... G46 code and speed sensor code became up .... Took wheel off the near side rear and looked about and my abs ring is bent and abs sensor is trashed .. Talk about a beaming smile to total miserableness .... Anyone know the best place to order the new bits and bobs I need.. And roughly how much? Took the other halfs Fiat 500 to work this morning . Enough said really
It says the part is not available online and to ring or email them... I know the sensor is wrecked and here's the silly question would the ring be mullered or just bent and could be straightened..

Yeah gonna ring my local day light robbery Center in a bit ...I know the sensor is done in but will the ring be in the same way or shall I just get both regardless ...

VW want seventy seven plus vat for a sensor and said the rear ring comes with or attached to the hub and couldn't give me a price... I found this on eBay though is this about right. http://bit.ly/13GAqm8
That is a bit of a Bas***d act getting a bad bolt. My solution was to fit studs and nuts from trackstuds.com from the USA. They have a variety of lengths and cone or tapered nuts to suit.
Fingerscrossed even ,, I don't know what fingets are
