I'm in the process of replacing my rear shocks. When I removed the bolt that retains the rear spring, this plastic part shot out from somewhere. I can't find any documentation that says what it is or where it belongs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I beleive that is the insert from the hole in the bottom arm, in the spring perch. I don't know why they are there, just seems to hold stones in mine, from what I remember???

I think you're right. I took the other side apart more carefully. It just sits in there. It's loose. Those crazy Germans! Thank you for the response.
