Not that bad really. Unbolt the drive shafts and prop plus a few other bits but it is heavy as the rear diff would have to be removed at the same time.
People seem to try anything these days but really you need a ramp or pit as you need to get right under the car then drop the diff and cradle etc about a good 3ft down and under the car which is a good 100lb in weight then get it all back up again some how.
Cradles are not worth much really and posting them is expensive as big and heavy. I usually bin them to be honest. It might be worth looking at a price of a new one as most of the used ones i have had would need shot blasting and messing about with before painting etc.
