Not aware of any other than the coilpack recall, which is not really a recall. A 2007 car is not affected by this anyway, as the latest version of coilpacks were introduced into the factory by then. Worth checking though with a quick call to your local dealer with the reference "28F5"

Real recalls tend to be safety related and are listed on the VOSA website, but MK5 R32 hasn't had any, as I'm aware.

VW dealers do receive TPIs but they are not normally made public and as part of the service at dealers, the car is checked against any outstanding.

Speaking of recalls mine got recalled for the coil packs,

Note; my apparent faulty ones were spot on

And now 2 of them intermittently fail, VW said its a coincidence so I have argued and argued now they are doing them for free under the 2 yr warranty but why the hell remove working ones and replace with shit ones if IDE known i would not have had it done

You are lucky they are changing them under the 2 year warranty as parts replaced free of charge are not normally covered by the 2 year warranty. They revert back to thecwarranty of the original parts coming out as part of the T&Cs of warranty work.

My 2007 car had the coil packs swapped by the dealer.

Theres a recall for noisy exhaust and using lots of fuel :)
