Right chaps, after so much searching for genuine vw recaros I'm fed up and thinking about going down the recaro cs route.

I can get mk5 recaro bases to fit the cs seats fine.

But the questions are...

1. Do I lose out on height adjustment?

2. What happens with the heated seat looms?, i will have to get heated cs seats but how is the wiring to make the heating work?

3. Seatbelt tensioners, what happens with the seatbelt warning chime?

Not so sure on 1 or 2 but regards question 3 when i installed my recaro's i didn't bother replugging the seatbelt warning cable one, thing it goes to the ocs in the seat, no seatbelt bong ever now it's great!

If not my buddys just got an account which enables him to get cs' at great prices.

Were looking for a few more people to drive the prices down.
