Afternoon all,

Getting my car back from VW this week from having the Front wings replaced and the rear boot repaired and sprayed...

Now, how long should I wait before applying glaze and wax? I've seen various opinions online, some from 30 - 90 days etc, depending on baking etc but not sure...

What would you say?

One thing is that, I'll be moving back to Cornwall on the 24th of May, and won't be able to put the R32 into a garage right away, so will be outside for a while.

Predator_R32 is a painter and im sure he said 2-3 weeks.

I am a painter and to be safe I would say couple of weeks minimum so the paint hardens fully

I'm correct in saying you can wash the car with a PH neutral shampoo during this time?

I will wait until atleast the week I move back down to Cornwall again then before adding protection. This should give the car another 3 weeks to harden.
