doesnt the revo increase the limiter to 7300 ?

Im not to sure but if so is this safe?

Mine revs off the scale.... 7400+ (with cams) and it's fine, infact it loves it! i wouldn't worry about it.... is that stage 2 Revo?

Nah mate just a stage 1 I need hi flow cats for stage 2

I didn't know you needed the hi flow cats for stage 2, I thought it was just CAI, exhaust.... But if that's what you were told. It's 100% safe, I just wouldn't have it bouncing off the limiter all the time.... :heeeelllllooooo:

Ok, well my views on the Revo have gone down hill for a number of reasons, firstly everytime your battery gets disconneted it fecks with the settings so you have to get it looked at time after time, this has cuased the car to gain a stutter, mines not the only one either. Having driven other mapped cars, revo is not the best option for the .:R, im having the APS map flashed onto her soon as this is just soooo much better. Mines rev's of the scale too to 7400rpm, have been told this is ok aslong as you don't do it evertime in everygear, for obvious reasons. Revo is ok, but i think the stage 2 isn't best suited to the car especially when you start tinkering etc.

And, well, this generation vr6 in the .:R,TT and A3 is rather pants, need i say anymore, endfloat issue, cam chain problem, thrust bearings etc etc etc, its all a very well known problem!!
