Rolling road day?

After reading thread about bhp figures I thought it would be good for an R32 RR day. We organised one over on Tyresmoke last year (or was it the year before?

) and had about 10 cars.

Are there any plans for one and if not anybody got any ideas where we could go and want to organise it?!

RR is a great idea.

Not sure when or where.

We all need to agree on where and then we can use that as a brenchmark for furture runs and mods.

Who has the most reliable dyno??

Late autumn is best for me.

The best one I've used is Engine Advantages in Essex, small place, 4x4 dyno. It's the same make of dyno AMD used to have. They are big on Ford's but have never had an issue with VW's. I know of other VAG forums using them. The guys are cool and look after the car....

A couple of us from the R32 register went to awesome in february and it was a good day, even though they have a 4wd rr they pulled the fuse on the haldex to run them in 2wd mode, apparantly the figures are more acurate that way:151:

I'd vote for Awesome as well.

Not too sure about running as 2wd though..... Sounds a bit dodgy to me. :vroam: :151:

I would like to have a go as well. Always assuming I have 270bhp withe catback milltek, carbonio and Revi stage 1 but somehow I have an inkling feeling it will hover around the stick quote numbers.

Awesome is in Irlam , Manchester so not too far north no.

I am happy to go to awesome.

As for a date mid to late october will be best for me.

As soon as the weather gets better ill be very busy on the farm till then.

Maybe get time for a few more mods as well.

If theres enough of us interested i can set up a club RR day .

Could be good in October then ? gives everyone enough time to plan time off etc.

I'll see what Awesome have dates wise.

I would like to know what my car's realy doing , but its been on many rolling road days and the figures never seem right ,
I think it must be my car doesnt like the rollers as it performs very well on the road

the fuse should never be pulled it screws the haldex system
