Decided to take the plunge and remove the roof to make way for a genuine carbon fibre skin

Very nice, looked into this myself once but they don't didn't do a skin for a MK5 with a sunroof......

So whats next!? bonnet, wings and boot

Ye it's an LWS one. Took 7 weeks to get here and you have to pay up front!!
Was pretty straight forward to be fair apart from roof gutters wouldn't go back in cos the new roof skin is slightly larger. So had to take rubbers off and glue them in

How does the roof come off ie where abouts have you got to cut I'm guessing you leave a lip to bond to ?

I know where there based so I was going to do a cash on collection deal

Ye u leave a small lip to bond to then weight on top till is bonded
