Taking my R with a friends to the pod on sat. One of them has said he does think its a good idea taking mine as he thinks ill bugger up the AWD system? I thinking its BS because im thinking the AWD only kicks in when you hit a corner? Plus as long as I turn off the traction it should be fine. Also this is only the second time ive done this so is it high revs dump the clutch and go!!!

I went to York dragway in Yorkshire a couple months back and ran

1st race: 15.28 - 84mph
2nd race: 14.91 - 96mph
3rd race: 14.83 - 91.8mph

Got a magnex cat back and a itg panel filter running on Michelin ps3s

Some power transfers to the rear as soon as one of the front wheels slip so AWD will kick in on launch.

You are putting more strain on the drivetrain but it can handle it, assuming all the parts are in good condition and you don't do too often.

I had mine to pod twice and done 4 and 5 runs respectively. best time was a 14.3

yeh they shut the track off if it starts to rain even the slightest.

Once it stops raining, they'll spend an age blow drying the track with a massive machine.

Safety wise it's great, but otherwise it's a wasted day if it rains on/off like it has been doing lately

Well went to pod today was beautiful weather
but rather busy only managed 3 runs and waiting
over 2 hours for the first run was a joke

so first run thought I would give it full licks off the line
she flew off perfectly but managed to cook the clutch
so it slipped all the way down the strip didn't matter what gear it was in just span the clutch out

ended up running a 17.6 so with dented confidence and a small amount embarrassment

I went down the second time and ran a 15.8. @94mph

and then the third I ran a 15.6 @94mph

I'm sure I could have run faster times but just took it easy coming off the line for the next runs

little bit disappointed but there's always next time
And will be remapped by then
