Went to Hilton @ sharks bay last year, very nice spot, didn't leave resort for 7 days. Highly recommend it, upgrade to a suite!

We're heading back to sensatori @ sharm this summer, your guaranteed the weather but no bacon sarnies : ( we had a fab time. I got up every morning and hit 100 golf balls, went to the gym, went and woke the mrs up and spent the whole day lying about and reading, smoking and drinking lol.

Sharm is safe but wouldn't head to Cairo these days it is a bit rowdy ATM. Any other questions give me a shout mate.

Hey Andy,

We might see you if you book something, me and my girlfriend are going to Iberotel Sharks Bay on the 21st for 2 weeks.

We went to Sharm Grand Plaza last year after doing loads of research on TripAdvisor.

We are going this time mainly to do diving, so the hotel itself wasnt really an issue as we will be spending most of our time on boats, but the reviews the Iberotel has are good, and the food is supposed to be really good to.

One thing Id reccomend you do, is go straight to a pharmacy and get the 'gyppy-tummy' meds and take them straight away.

It doesn't matter how careful you are, you will get the shits!!

Hi, my wife and I were in Sharm in late April this year. We stayed at the Sunrise Arabian Beach Hotel in Sharks bay. Could not recommend it enough. It was built in 2012, so everything is clean and fresh. Rooms are large comfortable and with ac. Food choice was incredible too. As well as the main buffet style restaurant which had just about everything you can imagine, there was also Indian, Thai, French, Italian and seafood restaurants. The entire resort was beautiful, great pools, 4 or 5 of them, great beach which had cushioned cabana's with a reed roof which you can hire for the day for £20, and sun loungers which are free, crystal clear waters and a Jetti over the coral to the deep water where you can dive, swim or do waters sports. Hassle free and great staff. Check it out. We booked with Thomas Cook for 7 days but would definitely do 10 or more if we went again. Remember to get your currency in small notes too, 20's and 50's rather then 100's and 200's which the bank will automatically give you but when you are there it's a pain as no one wants such large notes and you don't want to tip that much.

No shits for us there either, sterilised water is used to wash the salad, make ice cubes, everything. Just use bottled water when you brush ya teeth and don't drink tap water. If you want some free champagne and some extra perks when your there just tell your holiday rep and hotel reception at check in that its your honeymoon. They gave us free massages, champagne and strawberries, and dinner on the beach and room service breakfast compliments of the house. It was our honeymoon but they didn't ask any questions

Nabq Bay is really nice, it's up the very north of Sharm.

Been there 4 times now and best place we stayed was Tropicana Sea Beach Resort, bonus of havings it's own water park which was excellent, just booked to go back on 20th July

Went to sharm el a bit back and was good. All inclusive with drink huts on the beach, good food, really good actually and good areas along the stretch of beach. There's plenty of bars an more restaurants as Italians like staying there too. Really nice views and also a restaurant at the beginning of a pier which serves fresh caught seafood and leads on to a stretch in the ocean where you can view all the tropical fish.

Go.....
