Evening all,

Yesterday I noticed my rear shock absorber cover was in half on my mk5,
Do I need to replace it? Can I fit it myself and where can I find a replacement too?

I'd replace it. Yeah you can do it, use a zip tie or 2 to hold it up, Try a stealer

Ok cheers, I'll have a crack at it once I've found a replacement, seen some on fleabay I may get

Just looking at my photo again, I can't see if its split on the lower half (steel rod exposed) or whether the cover has just slipped up and needs pulling down, think I need to take the wheel off at the weekend and have a proper look-see
