This car was up for sale in January on R32OC and the following description was written by the previous owner - HonestRick (it's such a good description I'd thought I'd use it again). I was hoping to keep the car for a couple of years but circumstances have changed (decided to buy a house...) and how I need to limit my monthly outgoings starting with a fond farewell to the R32

For sale is a 2008 '58 Volkswagen Golf R32 5dr in Red.

It has the 6-speed DSG twin-clutch gearbox, silky smooth.

The car has covered 53k miles (still in daily use) and was last serviced by Ben Cross Motors (VAG Specialist) in April at 41k, at the previous service (Lloyd's) they fitted new front discs and pads.

Service book info:

20/10/09 - 10,592m - Hayselden Volkswagen, Doncaster
11/5/10 - 15,345m - Hayselden Volkswagen, Doncaster
28/10/10 - 24,560m - Gilders Volkswagen, Rotherham
8/6/11 - 34,560m - Gilders Volkswagen, Rotherham
26/4/12 - 41,961m - Lloyd Motors, Carlisle
12/4/12 - 51,618m - Ben Cross Motors (VAG Specialist), Carlisle

4 previous owners.

2 keys

Taxed until October 2013.

MOT until November 2013.

I have done 5k miles in the car. This car was up for £17,000 when bought in April 2012 from Lloyd Mini, Carlisle.

The car has nearly £6,000 of factory fitted options.

A list of the spec:

Standard on R32:

· Convenience Pack - Coming/leaving home light, auto headlights on, auto dimming interior rear-view mirror, rain sensor wipers and front footwell illumination.
· Bi-Xenon lights (Xenon light on both dipped and main beam), headlight washers and auto-range adjustment.

Optional Extras:

· Cruise control (£270)
· DVD Navigation/Radio system (RNS-510, this was only fitted to the later R32's and then the Mk6 Golf, the early R32's have the lesser RNS-500) - 6.5" colour touch screen, front centre armrest with storage compartments, two rear air vents and cupholders, arm-rest mounted 6 cd autochanger and multifunction 'highline' computer (£1845)
· Leather upholstery - Vienna leather, heated fron sports seats, electrically adjustable drivers seat lumbar support. Front passenger seat with lumbar adjustment (£1645)
· Luxury Pack - Electrically foldable door mirrors with automatic dimming driver's door mirror, reverse activated kerb-view adjustment on passenger's door mirror and rear reading lights (£190)
· Parking Sensors, Rear (£315)
· Rear tinted windows (£175)
· Multifunction steering wheel, including paddle shift for DSG gearbox (£395)
· Electric glass sunroof (£515)
· Bluetooth telephone ready (£230)
· Winter Pack, (in conjuction with Bi-Xenon headlights) - Heated front seats, heated windscreen washer jets and low washer fluid warning light (£310)

The car is lowered 25mm on H&R springs, ride is a little bit firmer and it means the wheels fill the arches nicely. Standard springs are included in the sale so could be refitted if you prefer the standard ride height.

The car is sitting on the standard 18" Omanyt wheels (decided not to go for the 19" Cades wheels). These wheels were refurbished by Lloyds before my friend bought the car, and still as spotless and the tyres still have all have good tread.

Any questions then get in touch. I work different shifts every week so if I don't answer leave me a message and I'll get back to you ASAP. I am in no rush to sell the car so please no silly offers.

I'm looking for £11,995 ono
