That's a bummer, but i suppose the labour is slightly more down there.

Haha had a chuckle, reminds me of my mate who's into cycling like me, his misses wouldn't let him get a second bike so he bought one and had it sprayed to match his original, I won't say she not smart enough but she certainly didn't check the finer details shall we say .. Suffice to say to this day she still not aware he's got another lol

A reputable garage will charge ~£150. It's not just the springs they are fitting, but the geometry is realigned too.

My springs are getting fitted on the 9th. Can't wait!

When the car is jacked up on both sides and as level as possible, I put a magnetic laser pointer on the brake disc and mark the red laser dot on the inner wing with tippex. Then after fitting the parts, I make sure the laser pointer still aligns with the tippex dot. This will get the alignment near as dammit and buys you some time to book in a professional alignment. Providing the springs aren't silly low, the alignment won't be far off, if at all tbh.

Observe the attachments ref the torque settings and replacing nuts / bolts.

Hey
When do you wanna get them done?
I'm only round the corner and seeing as I can get a spring compressor and coincidently I am a mechanic and have the tools we could do this on a Sunday or something?

If you want that is?
