Ford Mondeo ST24

(formally known as The Goldern Bullet)

2000

After not having a car for well over 6 months because the EX had the car (Zafira, ugggh!!) and once back to me it was sold I was on the hunt for a cheap run around till I get myself back on my feet....So.....I came across this for.......................£600.

2.5 V6...You might remember these as a granddad car...LOL, still is. The colour is seagrass gold pearl and is genuine through the 7 owners it has had. I had it serviced whilst in Cornwall and...load behold, one of the mechanics has the exact car in the same colour....Not so rare then lol....

No were near the Golf in every way but since I've owned a fair few cars (inc the amounts of Golfs) this is value for money...390 on a full tank too!! Still think I could have squeezed a few more miles out too

My dad always had V6 mondeos they are really good cars he had one from new Paid 22k and ran it to 270,000 miles FSH and in that time the only mechanical work apart from the service was a clutch at 200,000 miles

He sold it to his mate for 150 quid (I would if had it so I can keep my R for weekends)

Really thought I'd get slated for it and....I did PMSL....."Good luck with the car". Going to need it. Threw the car in for a service and it came back with MORE faults that will need rectifying ASAP...

Oh but I do love the Fords
