I think more for just the convenience, plus I've read it is a good box. I've had a mk5 32 and it was manual which i didnt mind, but after owning an E92 M3 with DCT i think I'd miss the manual.

Your right if it goes wrong, could be pricey, but so could and manual car that's out of warranty.

I'm not totally unsold on the idea of a manual, plus the car will be eve / weekend drive, so around 3.5k miles per year less

So many choices and options running round my mind at the moment!

Just out of interest, what the history of the car? previous owners? has the car had any non standard mods?

Also, where are you based?

I live in Aberdeen in Scotland, but willing to travel for the right car.

it got full vw service history never been in any accidents or collisions and has had 2 previous owners but the first one was vw as it was a demo car.
its has no mods at all and has not had any either. im based just outside london

No, they have been fitted by the owner or a previous owner.

What connectivity does the sat nav system have? iPod? Or would the SD cards take MP3's?

Also on the history, when was its last service? When is it due next? Was the 40k a major service? Haldex etc?

I'm still interested in the car, as I may be flexible on the DSG, and its not so high on my must have list.

Honestly if i had the money or was not selling my car i would have snapped this r32 looks a real nice spec and it seems the owner has looked adter it. Good luck with the sale. You can always px me for my r32 il give you money on top
