My Mk4 has its headlining out (what a suprise), and in the recent wet weather, I got a cascade of water onto the rear seat when pulling away.
Checked for a blocked drain tube, and they are clear. However, the rubber tubing has hardened and distorted, where it is glue into the end fitting. So it no longer fits and seals in the white rubber socket. I can see daylight either side of the tube when looking straight into the socket. Needless to say, these are NLA from VW / TPS.
Has anyone found a later model OEM tube that is the same 13mm OD? I could push my luck and chop 15mm off the end of the pipe and re-glue, But I think the best solution would be to replace the old tubing. Otherwise I need to source some rubber or silicone tubing the right size online.
