I really like suede but I think cb's right, it'd be a lot harder to keep clean, I've seen a refurbished vw steering wheel somewhere and thought it looked horrific, but black alcantara headliner looks sexual in my eyes ????

Had a customer at work a few years who had suede in a 3 series BMW. Looked very strange and cost a bomb

Dont know what actual suede is like on seats, but I have a pair of suede shoes and its a right pain. Looks nice, but scuffs easily and is unrepairable.

I think its more for show tbh
Dnt think it would be hardwearing or tough material like cloth or leather.
