It's a AWD 1.8T 16v 4motion garrett GTX4202R was running 900bhp but I believe it's now running over 1000bhp. He's running E85 fuel a o2m sequential shifter 4 speed SQS dog kit.

For all the R32/36 engine is, its certainly not as capable as that 1.8t lump especially on the strip.

Goes back to a thread I added to a while back about VAG's best ever engine - that 1.8t lump has got to be one of the most capable engines for the capacity around.

Amazing.

I have to say, I've never been a massive fan of drag racing. Chasing fractions if a second with tens of thousands of pounds in a car that's built for that only purpose.

Now a car that can do an 8 second quarter, go round corners and I can play my tunes in would be a different story!! Lol

It's a 16V, but any engine is only as powerful as the amount of dollar thrown at it. There are 1000+hp R32/R36/12V turbos out there too
