Well I've had my R32 for a year now and as much as I love the car I keep finding myself looking at something else! I've got my eye on an Audi TTS. Just looking for everyone's opinion on this? I know people think it's a hairdressers car but am only a 25 year old guy so I think I can get away with that lol anyone had any experience with them?

No I have had no experience as a hair dresser or as the receptionist of a hair dresser

I'm debating weather to change or not. TT TDI is on my list. A few mates have said to me its gay but I think they look dogs. If you got the money then why the hell not?

TTRS or nothing you wouldn't buy a 4motion golf instead of an R
Also don't rule out a Ferrari, I know someone who can get them cheap, now what was his name again hmmm oh yes car32 ! ????

Lol but why would car32 need a Ferrari his car was quicker than one anyway

The TTRS is just a completely different kettle of fish though! The running costs would be pretty high compared to the TTS, and everything about it that bit more expensive! Where as I would imagine the TTS to be the same if not cheaper than my R just now.
Ive had a TTS Cab which had the optional 19" wheels... it does everything the R32 does but without the noise. Slightly better on fuel and maintenance. The main thing i noticed was it looks like a small car on the outside but once your in it, the cabin is huge. Im 6'0" and i sat in it comfortably. Great handling car with the right tyres and MAGNETIC RIDE switched on.

Definately worth the switch then yeah?
i would say so. I had a manual R32 before i had the TTS Cab (also manual) and i enjoyd it just as much - it was also quicker which i liked too. only downside for me was it was Stolen in early Feb so ive gone back to a R32 again.
Go drive one dude and then decide. Opinions are great and these guys give great advice but ultimately you will have to live with it.

It is a great car to drive and the interior is plush- regardless of some opinions you are still going to be driving a premium marque car. Just my humble opinion of course. :)

I also had a mk2 TT, but it was the 200bhp 2.0T coupe. I loved the car, and regretted selling it - very well put together.

I don't think you will regret getting one, but the only thing for me is the fact a new one is around the corner, as the mk2 was released in 2006.

As already said, once a TT RS drives by, you will wish you had off got one!!
Drove a 58plate tts(when new)

It quick and clutch is lighter, better fuel. The noise is like s3/gti nothing like a r32 v6 grumble.
Am 6ft 2"
I found it tight in the cabin,
It only classed as a hairdressers car if you get a rubbish model, but tt-s & tt-rs ain't no hairdressers car i can assure you that.

Like benji said Ppl views and opinion are good as they give you a idea on stuff, But your best going to test drive one and find out for yerself.
