gearbox is good for around 600bhp, the 4th gear is the weak spot when your putting excessive torque through the transmission.

Confirmed by Sachs this morning, the stock clutch is good for 355ft/lbs of torque.

Internals are good for 600bhp, rod bearings good for 900 :O

Basic rule of thumb, over 400bhp = thicker head gasket to lower compression.

Other than that, the car is pretty well ready to take the power. Just brakes and suspension that would need upgrading.

Wayne, i wouldnt say it can handle 600, more like 400. As my clutch which was fione only lasted a week with the turbo before it went very very quickly :(, and alot of people on vortex have also found this :(

I know the clutch isnt as robust, that number i quoted for torque figures was from Sachs direct this morning!
