hiya,,i was due to have my wheel scratches sorted tommorow but had to cancel due to parents hospital appt,
after having the car valeted at the weekend and after a really good look around,,i think i might wait until autumn or beginning of winter and have a "proper" refurb,,even the guy who was going to do the wheels said "they are really not too bad at all"
so i am thinkin instead of laying out £200 to have few scatches sorted,that i might as well wait and have a full refurb instead of half a job,,will post some pics up of wheels asap,cheers jason p

yeah,,i know what you mean but in all honesty they are not too bad and for £200 i was thinking a bit extra and they can have a full proper refurb instead of half a job,,scratches will be prepped,taken care of and painted,,for a few quid more i can get them done properly,,
i need to keep my car ocd under control lol i am pretty sure although i said a winter refurb i wont wait that long,,so probably have a full refurb after lakeside meet at the end of the month,,,cheers jason p

if you got them fully refurbed, would you go powder coated or paint?

I've always fancied trying diffetent colour wheels on the driver's and passenger's sides. You can only look at one side at a time and would give a nice change.

done this before.
got a frozen white zetec s tdci fiesta and wasnt sure if i would like gloss black, so got 2 wheels done black and drove round for a few weeks till i was sure gloss black was right.

hiya,,had all four wheels refurbed today [tues 14 may 13] by darren from paint wizards,, he arrived at just after 8.30am and left tonight around 6pm..my wheels look brand new [imho] with darren saying that previous owners last refurb wasnt all that but i am very happy with the job and also managed to give my calipers a clean ,have tried to put pics on but no joy and have left a link to photobucket,with pics of wheels and paint wizards van. shame it was pissing down but he done the work in my garage and his van.very reasonable rate for this part of the world especially for such a detailed job,,paint wizards got some great kit and van is a mobile workshop, now about those bbs wheels!! lol, cheers jason p http://s1112.photobu...3?sort=3&page=1
