So my .:R is going in for a full respray next week and I'm worried about washing it when I get it back.

I currently use snow foam, 2 bucket method with fist of wookiee, pressure washer and open hose. Guessing I should drop using the pressure washer to avoid forcing contaminants into the paint?

I'm also worried about using the wookiee as it can put swirl marks since its fibres are so damn long. Should I go back to a short pile sheepskin mitt?

Any advice fellas?

Cheers

Just leave it about 2 - 3 weeks then wash it don't use any harsh chemicals on it if you can and put some wax on it but should be fine

Best to avoid motorways for a bit if you can the paint will be very soft and chip as it wot be a high bake enamel paint probablies a low bake one

Would it be worth while me waxing it at the body shop before I drive it home?

mate i wouldnt advise it! i have been with a detailing expert this afternoon and this would be one of the worst things to do as soon as you apply your mit and drying clothes youl get swirls!

leave it for a while till the paint hardens, if mine doesnt sell im taking it for a full detail soon as!
