I'm wanting to get myself some braided hoses for my ecs stage 5 brakes. I would have thought they would have been done already but obviously not. So 2 questions..... What's the best to go for?? And where's beat to get then?

Cheers

Personally I'd sell the ECS stage 5's and get something that actually works better(you may get some improvement if the fluids re-newed & bled properly) but after a scary very high speed stop with my ECS- I changed mine to AP's which are 100% better

The fluid was changed and all pressure bled just over a week ago with new back pads but they still don't feel great. I've had a few scary moments in mine before I done the pads. Cheers for that though daz I might look into changing at some point.

i just got hel but surprisingly found they are about 2 and a half inches shorter than standard at the front so had to run them behind the shocks rather than in front, not too good in my opinion! but with ecs i believe you want porsche - vag

ECS brakes are hard to bleed properly tbh, you literally have to do them twice in the correct order to get them performing OK.....

They are not bad brakes but when you invest some more ££'s you realise theres a lot better available.............doing an emergency stop at 160mph+ is scary with the ECS's, my AP's are an awesome set up-probably even too good for a road car

I understand what your saying but no scary moments here not once ?
And I've done plenty of track days with some high speed braking maybe I'm just one of the lucky ones that these work well on ?
