anyone had problems with rear wheel bearing, got a rumbling noise from drivers rear.

also on my mind is the fact that that wheel has a bridgestone, with the others being eagles. this bridgestone is also wearing more than the rest.

anybody had similar or had a repair done with vw, if so how much?

You sures it the bridgestone wheel making the noise.

APS confirmed that my wheel bearing type noise was actually the road noise from my Eagle F1's and that my wheel bearings we actually fine.

when i bought it all four had the same tread, the previous owner replaced the normal goodyear for a bridgestone. this has now worn much more than the rest, maybe its just that it has worn faster but im thinking it may be the bearing. it is hard to hear the noise over the exhuast, however it does appear to be on the bridgestone side
