Hi Guys,

Today i had my front tyres replaced on my MK5 R32. The front sidewall on one tyre had bubbled hard so replacement was required for both.

After replacing these tyres i am getting a horrible whining noise from the car, its hard to tell where this noise is. My mechanic seems to think that its just the tyres but my problem is the issue is only around upon deceleration and braking. Shouldn't this be all the time if it was the tyres?

Any help would be great.

Cheers,

Trent

Assuming you never fitted ditch finders, double check all wheel bolts are tight. Also double check tyre pressures.

Make sure the haven't bent the backing plate and it's not rubbing on the disc. At tbe same time check there ate no stones stuck between disc and backing plate / caliper.
