Will a dead battery loose my remaps?

I have got a mk5 with the VVT attack and dsg remap.

Was working away last week and some how managed to leave my side lights on....

Shameful I know :(/>

Doubt they wouldn't be but would just like an "expert" to confirm my maps are safe?

It was dead dead when I got back (wouldn't even unlock). But didn't take much to jump it at all.

Thanks for any advice you can give...

Really just looking for reassurance ;)/>

The map is stored on the ECUs eprom, so you'll be fine.

It's no different to the clocks which keep the mileage in memory ;)/>
Just being pedantic but it's eeprom as it can be deleted and updated. To delete an eprom it requires exposure to UV light.
