I have the two pedal version. MK V DSG.
The brake pedal moves from side to side.
Having owned a DSG model before I can't say I'd noticed any movement.
The car has gone back to the dealers, and they say this movement is normal.
Has anyone else experienced similar problems.

a semi auto. some pedal travel/play is normal but if its excessive then although they may fob you off and say your fine it can lead to excessive strain on the pedal assembly over time as the pressure you place on the pedal leg is slightly angled rather than the correct force of downward pressure at the angles within the given peramiters, meaning it can weaken the whole linkage

the reason i know this is i had the same thing on my new beetle a couple of years ago and the whole accelerator sheered at the base and left me with now power in the fast lane of the m5

dont panic about it, but you'll do well to compare it hands on with another car and check it, any vw auto will do :top:
