am i right in wot iv been told by the stealers that if your igniter has gone in the xenon that it cant be replaced and i would need to by a whole new unit????

has anyone else had this problem???

coodnt tell you mate,dont think so thow.just been told the headlight is unique for the r32s.toaly sealed up and not made to be opened up again to be fixed!!!

vws way of getting money of you for a whole new unit i guess!!!aaaahahhhhh:stickyman:

Right, the igniter is not the same as the ballast. You can buy igniters for £80 a pair from VW. The unit isn't totally sealed up, as I retro-fitted OEM Xenons into my TDI, you can open up the back of the headlight no problem and get right to the igniter.
