What exhausts do you both have they sound very different.

It say's in fatheads sig that its Milltek non-res with Milltek cats. As for Stefan's it must be some sort of resonated exhaust, my Milltek non-res on my MK5 is a lot louder than that. Both sound nice, glad the R32 boys won that award at inters

mine is milly non res, sports cat

stefans is milly non res but has an extra silencer after the cat i think

and chavs can have that noise play through their speakers with this... lol

I've got to be honest I've been thinking about doing something similar, the mk5 non-res is a bit loud for daily use, I'm enjoying at the moment though may look into it for the winter. Did you find the cats made the Milltek on your MK4 louder?

why not look into a bypass valve of some sort? open for louuud, close for quiet

and yeah, i wasnt too sure at first but now id say it definately made it more raspier and pop more

I would like something like a bypass valve, has anyone else done anything like that before? I've seen some on MK4's on youtube.
