To tell if the chains need doing, get VAG com and read banks 408 and 409 I believe. Tolerances are up to -11°.....mine old R32 went to -14 😔

It's blocks 208 and 209 and it's +8 to -8

I thought it was more Than that to be fair. Maybe mine was 9° then? Could've sworn the tolerances were +/-11°. But mine was over all the same so got them done. Never should've sold that car all the same!

They can go up to +/- 11 as that's what I was told last week. Just had mine changed as they were reading -9 & -9
