so last weekend I had a mad little thought and ended up buying my second r32 this one had abit more power though! The car in question was a mk4 r32 in dbp with a jbs 440 kit. The car has a large folder full of paperwork, history and mots. In relation to mods it has
a set of Porsche brakes up front,
jbs turbo conversion
Neuspeed anti roll bars
Unibrace
Miltltek exhaust system
Hpa short shifter
Single mass flywheel conversion
Induction kit
Running 472bhp and 441 torque
To say I am happy when I'm sat in the drivers seat it an understatement.
The picture below shows how she looked the day I got her.

Cosmetically the car needed a little bit of loving. I swapped my smoothed front bumper over, gave the intercooler a clean up in the process. I also swapped my engine bay plastics over and gave under the bonnet a really good clean up. I also swapped over a few subtle things. Will get a coat of wax on the car in the next week and give it a good polish. Things to do include painting the wing mirrors, rear bumper, window tints and enjoying the car while trying to finish my series 1 mk1 project

There really is no comparison haha it pulls like an absolute train and when you open it up all hell breaks loose. You can drive round normally it's just abit more response to my other one. The clutch is taking a lot of getting used to as it's got the single mass. My first r32 was a lot easier to drive than a turbo one and for daily use I think that the turbo could get frustrating in traffic etc but that's not what it's all about it's a Sunday morning when the suns out get out there and enjoy it! In relation to mpg if you stay out of the boost which is hard to do as it puts a big smile on your face you can get around 20-21mpg but if you play say hello to 10 - 12mpg

One of the first things I have done to the car is to have the wheels refurbed as they had some curb markings. I took the opera unity to give the brakes a clean up while the wheels were off. I am very happy with the outcome. This is the first step of the big clean up, next job is to tackle the door and boot shut and to clean up all the arch liners etc

Gave the rear Lights a well needed clean after work and realigned them as they were not lining up correctly to the rear quarter.
It's all in the fine details!

Sooooooo I Had a few spare hours this afternoon and with the weather clearing up I thought it was best to make the most of it so I set out making a start and decontaminating the paintwork on the car using a clay bar and some obsessive detail clay lube. The paintwork had many different contaminants including road tar, sap, insects and other objects 😂. In the 3 hours I've managed to do my whole drivers side and I'm very happy with the results. I took the opportunity to touch up some very small stone chips on the chills aswell so I'm really happy with how the cars looking so far. In the near future I will get the front of my side skirts painted along with wing mirrors and get a dent out of my drivers door. A few pictures of the result!

It really doesn't, I've spent a few hours clearing all the small marks and contaminants from the rear bumper and tailgate, I'm loving the way it's turning out so far.

Spent the morning Starting to polish and seal some of the panels on the car. I'm really happy how the paintwork is turning out! Went for a short drive to a local meet and took the opertunity to get a decent picture!

Paid for on the 12th and came this Monday. So not bad really, about a week. Packaging is good, big box and a load of bubblewrap.

I know what you mean, I'll be fitting a 9.5 et5 so I'll need them haha.

I will be sat at the door waiting for them too arrive haha, I wI'll only be running 8.5j for any shows and standards for a daily basis. May look into a Motorsport wheel early next year but mk1 will be taking priority soon as that's in the body shop £££

Managed to get a few free hours after work so took the opportunity to start cleaning the wheels arches, they had years of road grime and other unknown substances 😂 also gave the brake callipers a good clean along with the braided lines, happy with the results, will soon be powder coating a few bits, found a small oil leak coming from the oil pick up for the turbo so will be looking into that soon.

So I've Managed to trace a knocking coming from the rear end of the car to a broken rear spring. So treated the car to a new performance suspension set up just need to get my new drop links fitted when they arrive

It is 😎 running airlift performance struts with adjustable camber and dampening with v2 management and bilstein rear shocks, front poly bushes to go on along with the new drop links which I'm just waiting for 😈
