I use the dbp wax from obsessive detail it really makes the colour pop when it's done
It would be rude not to make the most of the nice weather unfortunately I'm working :(
That pic is when it was freshly waxed, the shine from this colour is awesome

Quick swill after work yesterday, also fitted a glass blank for the rear wiper and gave the interior a good blitz.

The replacement fuel hoses and filter have also been fitted, the picture below shows how perished the fuel hoses were so I'm glad I spotted them as they certainly had seen better days. Also fitted a new set of crystal side repeaters

I'm looking forward to getting the cleaning stuff out over the weekend. Also decided to change the suspension to coilovers so that will all be getting sorted at the end of next month so if anyone's interested in a airlift performance kit with v2 management let me know.
Here's a couple of pics from pick up day

The bags are great but when you go for a real spirited drive I have in the past rubbed my wings and obviously now they are painted I don't want to mark them, I have increased the dampening to prevent it but the ride height is just far to hard for me personally.yeah I had the shortened drop links etc

Looks great, what coilies you going for?

I'm just doing abit of reasearch at the minute, I will be upgrading the shocks and replacing drop links, track rod ends and having 4 wheel alignment done at the same time so hopefully it will drive well otherwise will be a massive waste of £££ hahaha

CAR passed its MOT yesterday so another 12 months ahead of it! I had only done 1100 miles since last year :( managed to give it a good clean the other week, it’s nice it being back to it’s former glory. Here's a few pics of the aftermath of a cold morning swill 😂Also attached a drive by video if it works!

Had a busy morning on Saturday fitting all the new bits, car is sitting well on the coilovers and drives really well, just need to get new rear drop links fitted and bushes for my neuspeed anti roll bar and then I’m going to get it booked into awesome gti for a 4 wheel alignment and haldex service. I also took the opportunity to give the arches a really good clean while the wheels were off.

Bit of an update as it’s been a long while now, big suspension overhaul has been done to the car fitted all new driveshafts, track rod ends, adjustable drop links, full wishbone polyvushes. Just need to fit the rear arb bush now but ideally needing a ramp to work off. Car went into the body shop to have some laquer peel sorted on the rear bumper and the passenger side rear quarter had some attention too! Only bodywork imperfections now is a small mark on the drivers rear quarter and a small crease on the drivers door. These will be sorted next year! Before that I’m going to get some new rubber, any recommendations?

I’m running the standard 18s, I have heard a lot of good things about the ps4s. Currently running vresestein sessentas which have been a decent tyre but don’t seem to make them anymore
