I can be rude, opinionated, and sometimes come off as a dick. I am just speaking my mind. If it offends you, PM me. Don't go whine to someone else. I am civil, talk to me.

Just to update, I received the engine spin ashtray trim and lid and also got the unit itself and all installed 👍🏻8162e8028d310999f3d39ca4b4d4e502.jpg122416c6cde7256a805b1ceba06d0692.jpgafa7c4bea1a1ddf9fa3f7c6c22af495e.jpg6d2b8c0f62d2d498e48d1a6d5bb390ff.jpgc1b1fc2d13758c8043f47c2bbb14448b.jpgd0256a918e24521f7b972737214dd1e5.jpg05711cfd197dd9a77e7eff5f519f1cce.jpgSo much better!! Defo worth doing if your car did not come with it 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If you don't mind me asking, where did you order all those parts from please, including the armrest? Hoping to do the same, as the car with no armrest is annoying me!

Cheers

2a0a6c124d8dc7eb5af9cc614c3b8b28.jpg Does anyone know much about engine oils as I have just got my car serviced by VW and they have used Helix HX7 10w-40. The cars service history has always been Castrol edge 5w30. Just a little concerned whether I should contact and get it rectified or whether it’s the right spec? Any input from someone with a bit more knowledge in this area than me would be much appreciated! My current millage is 107k Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It will be fine. It meets VW502.00 which is OK for a car on 10k / 12 month intervals.

4ff8d259bbeea9b61912f5f68bd56691.jpg Hey guys, I’d like to say that I am looking to sell my R32. I’ve owned the car for just over 2 years now and I am hardly driving it so I’ve decided to sell it. I will be posting full details on the for sale section and will include all the details. It’s a lovely car, very well looked aftered, never seen anyone except Volkswagen for all its work it’s entire life. Lovey lady previous owner whom purchased directly from Volkswagen. I prefer to advertise it on this forum first before I put it available on autotrader as I’d rather an enthusiast but the car. If anyone is interested or you know anyone who is looking for one drop me a message. I’ll be have a proper add in the sales section soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Same car as mine and what an example. Sorry to see you sell it.

How did you get the chrome tips so shiny on the exhaust tips?

Hey Stuart, hope you keeping well!
I gave them a good clean on the outside with the usual cleaning cloth and then for the inside of the tips I used Brillo pads. Once cleaned, i recommend using Autosol metal polish which works very well and has great results!

Cheers Jay. I've tried with a cloth but I'm unable to get the black crap off. How bad was your chrome? I think i might need something more abrasive than that. Any other tips?

A Brillo pad would remove any stubborn build up in the exhaust tips. May take a couple cleans before you see it completely go.
