So the idea is you post your dyno graph AND spec list, for others to see how different mods, turbos, exhaust, cams etc affect HP, Torque, spool and so on.
I’ll start since I have done plenty mods and had a few different setups. I’ll make a model you just copy and apply your own specs.

Turbo and trim: Garrett GTX3582R T4 1.06
Turbo manifold: Pagparts cast manifold
Wastegate: Tial F38
Exhaust: 3” down pipe, 3” Eip comp exhaust

Note the only thing that changes here from the one before is turbo is a GTX and has a 1.06 housing instead of the .82. That plus the forged rods allowed lots more boost which really woke op that engine.

So here’s a new one from me. Actually only changed the exhaust housing from V-band 1.21 to a T4 twin scroll 1.06. Manifold was made to a twin scroll so removed the “adapter” I had made. The result is 800rpm faster spool and another 65hp. Haven’t hit the magic 700 yet, but I’m working on it.

Turbo and trim: Garrett GTX3584RS T4 twinscroll 1.06
Turbo manifold: Turbular SS manifold
Wastegate: 2x Turbosmart Hypergate 45mm
Exhaust: 3,5” downpipe and 3,5” handmade exhaust.
Catalytic converters?: No
Intercooler: Threadstone 1000hp Core
Intake manifold: P-motorsport manifold
Cams: Schrick 280/280 cams
Engine: Forged H-beam rods, stock pistons and a 4mm headspacer
Boost: 1,8 bar 26 psi
Result 671hp 794nm (583lbs)

Interesting to see you made more power with a smaller A/R .

The problem last year was backpressure in the turbo manifold, and the T4 twin scroll housing solved that problem, probably because I could ditch the v-band-T4 adapter. Removing a restriction would be the reason for gaining 65hp, and twin scroll combined with a smaller A/R gave me the 800rpm spool time

Mike don’t you have a dyno sheet from your car with the GTX4088R on? Id love to see how it spools and delivers torque

So I might as well update this.
Late August I had my car in the dyno again, I raised the fuel pressure and wanted to give it more boost. Here in Denmark we recently got 100 octane pump fuel which I believed would help me break into the 700hp mark.
First run it produced amazing 721hp at 27psi with super rich mixture, about 10 afr. So we turned boost down to 23psi and started working on the fuel map to get afr 11.5. But we only got to 4th pull when the engine started sounding strange, so we stopped and got the car transported home. Then i found out it had broken the crankshaft...

Turbo and trim: Garrett GTX3584RS T4 twinscroll 1.06
Turbo manifold: Turbular SS manifold
Wastegate: 2x Turbosmart Hypergate 45mm
Exhaust: 3,5” downpipe and 3,5” handmade exhaust.
Catalytic converters?: No
Intercooler: Threadstone 1000hp Core
Intake manifold: P-motorsport manifold
Cams: Schrick 280/280 cams
Engine: Forged H-beam rods, stock pistons and a 4mm headspacer
Boost: 1,65 bar 23psi
Result 709hp 877nm

Here is the dyno where it snapped the crank. Next year I’ll be going R30 with DP pistons and 2.8 crank

Some really good figures there. Shame the crank stopped play, was interested to see how far you’d get with the gtx3584r. Onwards and upwards.

The plan is to build a bullitproof engine and push the GTX3584RS as far as it goes, but who knows, maybe there will be a bigger turbo on next year. I’ll make no promises :)

Do you have a part number for the forged crank ?

We don’t have Q16 here in Denmark, and as this is a street car ill stick with pump fuel. I don’t need safety, I need stronger internals :D

Lionborg, any updates on new set up? What's the reason for going down in stroke better ration in bottom end or do you feel the w.8 crank is stronger? Also have you been on a stock trans this whole time?
