Spacer gasket issue

“The issue being that the thicker head gasket has lifted the head enough to take some slack out of the chain forcing the tensioner over too far the tensioner is not even clearing one of the threaded holes used to bolt the cover onto the head..”

How have other people over come this issue when using the spacer gasket

Back of the guide needs modifying, can either do it that way or space the hydro tensioner out of the block.
