But just wanted to say that in today's world of hybrid suv's and electric cars in all shapes and sizes I think it is really cool of Toyota to make something like the new GR Yaris.

1280 kg with 261 hp (that is 4,9 hp pr kilo) 360 Nm of torque. 6 speed manual, and a mechanical 4wd system with the option of a torsen differentials both front and back sound like MUCH fun!

GR Yaris has three settings on the four-wheel drive system. Normal provides 60/40 front / rear power distribution for more predictable driving characteristics. Sport has 30/70 for more entertainment, and finally there is Race with 50/50.

Yes. I was on the pre order list for this thing, but when the price was announced I cancelled it. Even more expensive in my country compared to the UK. sad.gif

But if to think about what it cost to develop and produce this car, and the limited number of cars that will be made I think they are lucky to break even. That is why I am impressed with Toyota for doing it. clapping.gif

Ultimate hot hatch. Bet it'll be amazing to drive for those that can appreciate what it is.

I reckon a lot of the R&D on this will be passed down from WRC, Those things are epic. If you have never been to a stage and seen one in anger you're missing a piece of the jigsaw. Trust me they are insane.
