Over the moon with it and coming from a 1.4, the power and handling difference is day and night

Me tooo! hehe.
Not too many big mods planned as the paint and bodywork needs seeing too.
Already fitted US Rears and a polo stubby, currently trying to dewiper and then i want a cupra r splitter.
Might get the front smoothed (in two minds) when i get the front end resprayed.
My Rials will soon be up for sale but will try them to see if they fit just for fun

I have been thinking along those lines but as i plan to keep the car for a long time and watch it become a classic i'm in no rush yet

And pounced as quickly as possible, deposit put down the day after.

Always good to act fast. I did the same with mine, saw it on ebay and snapped it up - within the hour had the deposit down. I can't believe how cheap you got it. I see 90k silver MK4s going for nearly that price, and this has air!

Imo the spec is perfect, literally nothing i would change.

Yeah you're right, have to have a little faith in your instincts and hope for the best. I've made plans for mine which include a front end re-spray, and a re-trim of the seats not too dissimilar in colour to yours!

I'm considering front end only as the rest of the panels aren't too bad.
They'll look great, i need to get an r32 rear bench retrimmed!



Not sure if i like my US Spec rear lights, can't help thinking euro may look better.
What do you guys think?

What width are the rear wheels buddy and what size spacers is it running? I have the same wheels in 18inch 8j width, wondered how much spacer you can get away with?
