For sale I have my old Weitec coilover kit. This was professionally removed from the car on Friday 11th October when I had my KW V3s installed. The kit was already installed when I purchased the car in March 2013. I’m unsure as to how long the kit had been on the car prior to myself purchasing it.
The kit is 100% working condition and runs well. Recently I have had both front springs replaced (each spring was £70+ fitting). I’m going to be honest with you and say that the reason they were replaced was because they failed. The first spring (driver’s front) was U/S when I got the car and the second (Passenger front) went approx. 2months ago. When the second spring went I got the tuning company (well respected Norfolk suspension specialist) to check the back out for me as well, as I planned on replacing them at the same time. After a detailed inspection they deemed them to be fine (although my top mounts needed abit of greasing up). After getting the front replaced I ran the car on the coil overs for about 2months and then decided I wanted to upgrade to V3s for the adjustment, as I’m a sucker for tinkering ;)
As I said earlier the Coil overs were removed professionally when the V3s went on, and the tuners kindly estimated a resale value for me. They put 350-400 on them, so I thought 400 delivered (Ono) seemed fair. The car doesn’t see much rain/dirt but the kit is obviously not “As new” and as most things these are sold as seen. These are a ”mid-range” set, and I believe awesome sell them at approx. £650-750, depending on offers. If I wasn’t going to upgrade to the V3s I wouldn’t have ever changed them, especially after spending a tonne on the spring replacement, alignment and height adjustments this year.

This kit gives plenty of adjustment and you can get a really good drop on if you want to go low.

Any questions please ask. Thanks Chris

Viewing is encouraged but I’m aware I live abit out of the way
