they are Legal they come with a BS kite mark and everything ! Had them on my last 2 Car's no problems.

 

Print this off and stick it in your glovebox incase you run into problems.

I have a legal metal plates for the last 2 months no issues so far I have the BSAU stamp on them.

 

i have metal plates and got them of ebay,
had no problems and have all the right numbers etc

 

So far no.....

I was concerened about it so popped in to my local dealers and had a chat... by that I mean Dub Meister have people nation wide... I had a good chat and asked the questions... It is more about the correct marks, lettering, spacings and reflective materials not what the plate is made of. You may have fun if you put a D on it rather than a UK.... otherwise they are sold as UK legal plates so you always have a comeback that way...
