It would appear that Volkswagen UK* have new R32 floor mats available to order at £48.95 for a set of four. Available in black with silver, red or blue piping and have only been made available in the last two months.

I'm not sure about quality yet but I have seen a picture and ordered a set for tomorrow.

* This means they aren't manufactured by VW/Votex like normal VW approved Accessories. They are made specially for Volkswagen in the UK, presumably because they got fed up of saying no to the question "Do you do MKV R32 mats?".).

Spoke to VW Warrington and they said that the R Series Mats were £48.32 for a set of front mats.

He wouldn't give out the part number but I'm hoping to have a look at them on Friday when I go in to have my brakes looked at.

What was a little bit worrying is that he said that the stud fix was only available on the red pipping, with the Silver and Blue ones having a twist fix - whats all that about!?!? :questionmark:

They sound like the ones i got a last year from vw.

They have the .:R logo on them (looks like its pressed) - i got mine with blue piping. They have lasted well though i must admit.

I did post the details of the guy i got them through on here i think (he was the parts manager of a main dealer) and i actually found him through ebay.

Picture as requested. Price is for a set and not for two front mats

There are various different part numbers depending on what fixings/colour you want. The pile is a little (although not amazingly) thicker than OEM so all in all a very nice product!

If anyone wants any let me know.

they are the ones :) - the part number i listed was for the blue ones and with press fixing. not the twist. Ive had mine for nearly a year now and they still look good. would be interested in a part number for a single drivers mat though as thats the one that will go first i think.

LOL looks like VW are going to have a run on these :vroam:

Did you want silver ones PhilT? If so yours will be ZGB1K2061225R as your cara will have the push in clips.

Yes the silver ones with the circular push in clips as they are like that on mine, why did they change the clips on some? is that the part number for what I am after?

Early cars had twist type clips. The part number I gave you will be fine for your car :nurse:

There is a seperate part number for twist fixings. But your dealer orders the wrong ones then you can remove the clips from your current mats.
